Statement: During her degree course at Staffordshire University, Faye Miller experimented with a wide range of materials, media and techniques, but she quickly realized that her passion was for jewellery design.
Her early exhibitions contained pieces which mixed precious and non-precious metals. More recently she has begun to work with silver, often combining it with plastics, fabrics and wood to create unique contemporary pieces.
Using both etching and retriculation techniques she aims to design pieces which appeal to all the senses- her pieces, often vibrant in colour, have a dynamique, tactile quality which move with the wearer's body
